I’ll be honest with you, the American comic book hero who knows that the top of my head are mostly all known, Batman, Superman and Spiderman to name a few. But in recent years cinemas have been packed with film adaptations of almost every comic book hero. Some have been a resounding success, Batman Begins and its sequel The Dark Knight come to mind. But where there is success, failure may also occur. The two attempts to get the green giant, The Incredible Hulk to the big screen were not the best at capturing the attention of the general public. Although it has received rave reviews from film critics, take a look at what Marvel Comics films in development, the new version seems to have been “benched in favor of creating an adaptation of The Avengers (not confused with the British spy drama that aired in late 60).

One thing I can say is that although he knew little about the Green Hornet franchise, the upcoming film has really caught my attention in the new film adaptation of Hollywood’s more to come this year. Not only because the plot in general is reminiscent of the stories we’ve seen happen with the masked vigilante Batman, but the characters seem a real link to what looks like a potentially good film written and shot.

Another blow to the filmmakers have earned a stellar cast, as a recent rise in Hollywood, Seth Rogen. After playing in comedies like Pineapple Express and Knocked Up vague, and expressed the amiable Monsters vs. Aliens Dreamworks BOB, the character of the Green Hornet Britt Reid, will certainly agree that comes to be a playboy who gets up to things the media magnate very disapproving father. After his father is murdered, Britt meets an employee of his father, Kato (played by Jay Chou), and realizes he wants to use both their underused skills and help fight against the crime, creating “The Green Hornet.”

The first teaser trailers of movies certainly help to pump interest provide glimpses of scenes that left me screaming for more. I can certainly say that when the release date box office is getting closer, I’ll have to see the film as soon as possible. I hope this is not just to enjoy the casting Rogen, but also the use of lesser known actors Jay Chou, who made his Hollywood debut in the film. Another brilliant casting decision comes as a villain, Chudnofsky Benjamin, played by the brilliant actor Christoph Waltz, who swept almost all the film awards last year. It certainly has presence and looks like a cartoon villain in what I have seen previews of the film.

With its launch will be soon, I invite you to take the time to go see this movie. Not only will you be entertained by a plot that seems exciting, but also amazed at the amount of work and time has been put into bringing this project to the big screen.
